Visual Arts

Below are the Visual Arts Standards we focus on throughout the school year at each grade level.  These standards are in direct alignment with the Colorado Academic Standards and the curriculum outlined by Douglas County School District.

Our Art program is taught in our specials rotation.  Students will have one week of Art every three weeks.  Our Art teacher is a certified art teacher through the state of Colorado.  The areas below are the concepts that are covered.  Our art program works through many different mediums and formats to teach students these concepts.
