Members 17-18

We are excited to continue to have Dream Team as a part of Buffalo Ridge!

FACILITATORS
Mrs. Shaffner, Mrs. Deneault, Mrs. Segoviano

WHO ARE WE?
The Dream Team consists of fifth grade students who have applied for this opportunity, interviewed, and been carefully chosen by select BRE staff. The team will perform school/community service, conduct fund-raisers, and serve as one of the student leadership teams at BRE.

Dream Team is a commitment.

WE ARE SELF-SUPPORTED
Dream Team supports its activities and expenses through fund-raisers. These are organized and run by the members, and promote self-direction, decision-making processes, organizational skills, the democratic process, and problem-solving skills.

COMMUNITY SERVICE
Since its inception, the primary focus of Dream Team has been giving back to our school community and our state and local communities.

CHARACTERISTICS OF DREAM TEAM MEMBERS
All Dream Team members agree to conduct themselves by a set of standards that sets them apart as examples of student behavior for the school community. As Dream Team members, we believe we can and should give back to our community by helping others in our school and local communities. As student leaders, we will develop skills and experiences for future leadership roles, confidence building, and conduct ourselves as ambassadors of Buffalo Ridge to students from other schools and communities.

DREAM TEAM ANNUAL FOOD DRIVE

food driveEach year Dream Team organizes an annual food drive to support those in need around the holidays. This year, we teamed with Operation Bright Star to provide Thanksgiving meals to the Women's Crisis Center. With the generous and overwhelming support of our school families, we were able to provide over 120 meals for families! Thank you for all your support!

WORKING WITH PRIMARY KIDS

mentoringDream Team members are the student leaders in our school. We love working with our younger students, building positive relationships and being good role models.
